1918 – 2018, 100 years of the Süß family at the Hotel Ross!
One of the oldest and leading hotels in the industrial city of Schweinfurt in Lower Franconia. Built in 1806, it has been run by the Süß family for four generations. The hotelier Julius Süß acquired the Gasthof Rotes Ross from the Krakhardt family in 1918. Through constant modernization and expansion, it became today’s Hotel Ross.
Rooms
51 non-smoking rooms can be booked in five different categories.
Standard, Classic, Modern, Comfort and Rooftop Suite. These differ mainly in their size from 18 to 50 m² and all have free Wi-Fi, hairdryer, air conditioning, some with mini-fridge, safe and flatscreen TV.
Monthly flat rates from €1,500 on request!
Restaurant & Vinotheque
Enjoy fresh Franconian cuisine and selected specialties in our “Ross-Stuben” restaurant or on our beautiful terrace in summer.
Our “Vinothek Rossino” offers exquisite wines in a unique ambience. Our guests know how to appreciate the extensive (Franconian & international) wine selection. We look forward to your visit!

We offer rooms in the categories “Standard”, “Klassik”, “Modern”, “Comfort” and “Rooftop Suite”. An apartment (approx. 80m²) is also available as an alternative.
The rooms are individually designed and offer an area of 18 to 50m². All rooms have free Wi-Fi, hairdryer, air conditioning, some with mini-fridge, safe and flatscreen TV.

Of course, you can also book our rooms for your event or functions. Our restaurant can seat up to 100 people for your event. In addition, our Vinothek Rossino has a further 80 seats available.
